Chorin Abbey (Kloster Chorin) is a former Cistercian monastery about an hour north of Berlin. Built in the 13th century, it’s a great spot for history and architecture lovers, with its impressive red-brick Gothic design and peaceful surroundings. The way light and shadows play through the large windows and archways makes it a great place for photography.
